Where do I put the files?
Upload every file from the ZIP to the root folder of your website (for example /public or your web root), then paste the generated HTML into the <head> of every page.
Why does my favicon not update?
Browsers cache favicons aggressively. Try a hard refresh (Ctrl+F5 / Cmd+Shift+R), open a private window, or clear the browser cache.
Do I need a transparent background?
Transparency looks great on dark browser themes, but a solid background is safer if your logo is thin or light-colored. You can toggle both here.
Can I create a favicon from text or emoji?
Yes. Use the Text Icon or Emoji Icon tools to design a favicon from a letter, a short word or any emoji, choose a background color and download the full package.
